This kit includes a filter and a bottle of ViralStop (chlorine in a shelf-stable and easy-to-dispense 3.5 percent Hypochlorite solution) and removes protozoa, bacteria, and even viruses. The filter features a 75-micron stainless steel pre-filter, a 0.2-micron nominal fibreglass labyrinth depth filter, and an integral activated-carbon final stage filter that absorbs some chemicals, odours, and tastes. A coloured scrim indicates when the filter should be replaced. When the solution is used, it meets EPA certification as a purifier.
